Art, Music and Design
When arriving at Clarion Hotel Royal Christiania you will notice the bright, spacious lobby. Photographer Per Barclay’s picture “Judith” is on display in the lobby, illustrating the graceful timelessness of the hotel.
Music is important to many people, and our web channel plays lounge/jazz music 24 hours a day throughout the communal areas of the hotel. Our very own Clarion CD is also on sale. Several days a week our guests are welcome to join us for some live music in the hotel lobby. Music is also a central feature of the LobbyBar, either as background music or with live performances.
Exciting design products are on display at the sales exhibition in the Business Center in the lobby. You may also get associations to art and design when seeing the chocolate exhibition created by food artist Sverre Sætre, on display in the hotel restaurant Atrium. Chocolate is a tasteful, alternative gift to take home after a long week.
